Saracens warn Vunipola after arrest in Majorca
Written by I Dig SportsSaracens have warned England forward Billy Vunipola about his future conduct after he was arrested in Majorca on Sunday.
BBC Sport understands the 31-year-old was Tasered by police in the early hours of Sunday morning in Palma, the capital of the Spanish island, and subsequently charged with "resisting the law".
He was fined 240 euros (205) and returned to England earlier this week.
But the Premiership champions say they will take no further action against Vunipola, who won the last of his 75 England caps in the World Cup semi-final loss to South Africa last year.
"We condemn the behaviour and have warned Billy about his future conduct," the club said.
"We now look forward to the remainder of the Gallagher Premiership season and consider this case closed."
Vunipola described the incident as an "unfortunate misunderstanding".
"Contrary to media reports, there was no violence, no fight and I did not threaten anybody at any stage, with bottles or chairs or anything else," he said.
