By JANE BALL (Squash Mad Reporter)

England Squash has announced two new partnerships with Sport Manager and SquashLevels ahead of the 2022-23 squash season.

Following a detailed evaluation of numerous competition software systems and a successful trial of software provider Sport Manager at the British Junior Open in July, England Squash will partner with Sport Manager to deliver all sanctioned competitions.

England Squash say: “Sport Manager will meet the needs of players, parents, venues and tournament organisers with event registration and tournament and league administration, providing an end-to-end experience.”

England Squash has also partnered with SquashLevels to manage England Squash junior rankings, as well as the England Squash senior rankings, brand new for this season.

The new England Squash SquashLevels rankings is comprehensive and will list all English players at any playing level while focusing on the top 100 players nationally, which can be filtered by age and gender.

Mark Williams, England Squash CEO said: “Over the last few months, we have been reviewing how we manage competitions and rankings. We have listened to feedback from the squash community and our key focus has been on making the processes involved in delivering competitions and rankings as simple and as easy to understand as possible.

“In Sport Manager and SquashLevels, I believe we have found the right partners to work with.

“I am particularly excited about the all-new England Squash senior rankings, and after a fantastic summer of squash with the Commonwealth Games, we are looking forward to seeing the buzz this creates with players and fans across the squash community.”

David Ward, Sport Manager CEO said: “Sport Manager is excited to have been selected by England Squash as their competition management software provider.

“We have been developing and providing squash tournament software for several years, and are delighted to be working in partnership with England Squash to provide a smooth tournament experience and support their ongoing programme.”

Jethro Binns, SquashLevels CSO said: “We are very excited about the partnership with England Squash. SquashLevels has been invaluable for many players in England over the last few years and we’re delighted to be delivering the official rankings at a national level.”
