Toss Bangladesh opt to bat v Pakistan
Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and chose to set a target with the bat in the last match of the league stage in the tri-series in Christchurch against Pakistan.
Pakistan made one change, with Mohammad Hasnain replacing Shahnawaz Dahani in a like-for-like swap. Bangladesh named a XI without Ebadot Hossain and Mosaddek Hossain, instead bringing in Taskin Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud.
For Pakistan, the game presents an opportunity to iron out any creases before the final against New Zealand on Friday. As for Bangladesh, this game is all for pride, having already lost the chance of making the final with zero wins in three games. They would want to secure at least one consolation win in the tournament before moving to Australia for the T20 World Cup.
