Olympic steeplechaser impresses in our weekly road and multi-terrain round-up

BIDEFORD 10, Bideford, Devon, November 6

Britain’s European steeplechase finalist Phil Norman, who improved his 1500m PB to 3:39.89 this summer, won his first ever 10-mile race in 49:58.

Runner-up Ronnie Richmond went top of the UK M40 rankings for 2022 with 50:31.

Peter Hockin not only went top of the UK M60 rankings with his 56:32 but it was an English best as only Wales’ Martin Rees has gone quicker among British over-60s.

Rebecca Ezra won the women’s race in a PB 59:05.
