Toss Bangladesh chose to bat vs Sri Lanka
Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first in their opening match of the T20 World Cup, in Cape Town.
Bangladesh made substantial changes to the XI that lost in Queenstown to New Zealand, in December. Captain Nigar Sultana was relieved of the gloves, however, with Shamima Sultana keeping wickets on this occasion. This was Bangladesh's first official match in this tournament.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, made no changes to the XI that defeated South Africa on Friday. If they win here, they take a significant step towards qualifying to the semi-final in this tournament.
