Toss Bangladesh chose to bat vs England
Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal decided to bat first against England in the first ODI in Dhaka. He said that he would like his batters to make the best use of the conditions at the Shere Bangla National Stadium.
The home side picked three spinners in the line-up, including Taijul Islam, with Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman the pace options. Tamim returns to take Anamul Haque's place, while Najmul Hossain Shanto will bat at No. 3.
England have included Phil Salt to open with Jason Roy, changing up the opening stand that featured Dawid Malan in their previous ODI series against South Africa.
Will Jacks, who came in late for the injured Tom Abell, will make his ODI debut batting at No. 6, with England choosing a three-man pace attack - Chris Woakes, Jofra Archer and Mark Wood. Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid are the spinners.
