The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has officially launched the bidding processes for the World Singles Qualification Tournament for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in May 2024 and will see a total of 11 male and 10 female athletes qualifying for the Paralympic Games. This will be the final qualifying tournament and the last chance for Para table tennis players to pursue their Paralympic dream.
The World Singles Qualification Tournament is a significant event in the world of Para table tennis. The tournament is expected to attract some of the best Para table tennis players from around the world from classes 1 to 11
The ITTF has opened the bidding process to Member Associations and organisations that are interested in hosting the event. The bidding process is divided into three phases
Phase 1: Bidding Phase [until 15 June 2023]
Phase 2: Evaluation of Bids [16 June 2023 – August 2023]
Phase 3: Selection Phase [ITTF Executive Board Meeting 2023 – estimated end August 2023
