SAN DIEGO -- Los Angeles Angels All-Star Mike Trout left Monday night's 10-3 loss to the San Diego Padres because of an injury to his left wrist.
Trout fouled off an 0-1 pitch from Nick Martinez leading off the eighth inning and immediately shook his left arm. Manager Phil Nevin and a trainer came out to check on him, and he left the game.
Trout was undergoing testing on his left wrist after the game, according to Nevin, including X-rays.
Trout had an RBI single in the sixth. He was named to his 11th All-Star team with a 10th straight selection as a starter.
