England confirm men's and women's international fixtures for 2024

The England men's and women's teams will play concurrent series against Pakistan to kick off the 2024 home international season.

Heather Knight's team will begin with a three-match T20I series starting at Edgbaston on May 11, which will be followed by three ODIs. Jos Buttler will lead his side out in four T20Is as preparation for the defence of their T20 World Cup title in the USA and the Caribbean, with the first game at Headingley on May 22.

Following record ticket sales for the Women's Ashes this summer, England Women will once again see several fixtures hosted at major grounds. New Zealand will tour in June and July, with Lord's, The Oval and the Ageas Bowl staging T20Is. In all, 14 different venues will host women's internationals.

According to the Future Tours Programme, England Women are also due to play white-ball series in Ireland in September.

England Men will host three-Test series against West Indies and Sri Lanka either side of the Hundred, with Australia also returning for T20I and ODI fixtures at the end of the summer, which will end on September 29 with an ODI at Bristol.

Lord's continues to stage two Tests in 2024, with Headingley missing out. Both the West Indies series (scheduled for Lord's, Trent Bridge and Edgbaston) and that against Sri Lanka (Old Trafford, Lord's and The Oval) will see back-to-back-to-back Tests played inside three weeks.

Richard Gould, the ECB's chief executive officer, said: "After attracting record ticket sales this summer it is fitting that the England Women's team will open the international season next year at an iconic venue such as Edgbaston.

"Next summer's schedule will see England Women play at more venues and allow more people to see their heroes in action as we look to maintain the growth the women's game deserves.

"Fans across England and Wales will also get to see our England Men's world champions in action ahead of their T20 World Cup title defence, before three-match Test series against both West Indies and Sri Lanka.

"We can also confirm that our England Visually Impaired, England Physical Disability, England Deaf and England Learning Disability teams will all play next summer and that we are working to confirm those matches.

"We are looking forward to another memorable summer which is set to finish with white-ball series against New Zealand for our England Women's team and Australia for our England Men's team."
