Pens, O'Connor sign 2-year deal, avoid arbitration
Written by I Dig SportsThe Pittsburgh Penguins signed forward Drew O'Connor to a two-year, $1.85 million contract Wednesday, avoiding arbitration.
The two sides were scheduled for a hearing Friday.
O'Connor, 25, played in 46 games for Pittsburgh last season, recording 11 points (five goals, six assists).
A New Jersey native, O'Connor has played parts of three seasons with the Penguins since the franchise signed him as an undrafted free agent on March 10, 2020.
In 78 career games, he has 17 points (eight goals, nine assists).
