The Portland Trail Blazers are trading their star point guard Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks in a massive three-team trade, per multiple media reports.

The reports come nearly three months after he asked the organization for a trade.

After months of waiting, news that the 7x NBA All-Star would be traded to Milwaukee surfaced late Wednesday morning.

Damian seemingly confirmed the reports with a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), saying:

"The casuals wont be addressed but the trailblazers fans and city of Portland that I love truly will be and they will be addressed truthfully. Stay tuned Excited for my next chapter! @Bucks"

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Phoenix will get Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little, and Keon Johnson as part of the trade agreement.

Lillard, who grew up in Oakland and played in college at Weber State, joined the Blazers as the sixth overall pick in the 2012 draft.

Dame re-signed contracts with the Blazers on several occasions as the team looked to build a championship run. The team had several playoff runs including the 2019 Western Conference Finals.

Along with his years of loyalty to the Trail Blazers team, Lillard has stood as a community leader in the Portland area.

The J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award and NBA Community Cares Award winner works to improve attendance and graduation rates at local schools through his RESPECT Program, hosts basketball camps, offers support to people in need, and led a march in the wake of the George Floyd killing.

He also found other outlets for his creative energy, releasing music as Dame D.O.L.L.A
