Ravens set to close out season series with Browns
Written by Sports NewsThe Baltimore Ravens will stay put at home for their final regular season matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
Over the last few weeks, Baltimore has rapidly asserted themselves in the league's upper echelon, and not only have they been winning games, but we've seen them flat-out smacking their competition as of late.
The Browns have kept pace within the tightly contested AFC North as they sit at 5-3. Despite being without their starting quarterback, Deshaun Watson, in their last four, they were able to come away with a win in two of those games.
The Ravens dominated their divisional foes in their previous meeting on the shores of Lake Erie, but that was one of the said games in which Watson was absent.
Cleveland's strong defense kept them in the picture with their quarterback sidelined, and now with Watson back under center, their push for the playoffs will kick into high gear.
Baltimore is currently riding a four-game winning streak as we approach the weekend, and they fear no team when playing in front of Ravens Nation, just ask Detroit and Seattle how their games at M&T went.
The postseason is approaching faster and faster by the day, which means this divisional battle will carry even more weight. The Ravens are aiming for a fifth consecutive win, and it is about time I bring you another preview of what they will need to accomplish for Browns round two!
