Lions fans might be thankful after this year's Thanksgiving game
Written by Sports NewsThanksgiving Day will bring a feast of NFL games this year. The traditional two hosted by the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys are on tap, as well as a third prime-time game in Seattle where the Seahawks will take on the San Francisco 49ers. All three are important divisional games. Usually, when the Detroit Lions play on Thanksgiving Day, most fans are able to keep cooking or gather the family to eat knowing they are not likely to miss much. But that's not the case this year when they play the Green Bay Packers.
