Team India presents a new-look roster featuring players who, while not the most renowned on the international stage, bring a wealth of talent and promise to the table.

As this relatively unsung ensemble steps onto the global stage, their performances hold the potential to reshape the narrative of Indian table tennis, earning them a regular spot on the international circuit.

TEAM INDIA (#13 seed)

Archana Girish KAMATH (World No.137)
Archana Girish Kamath is currently in top form, securing a gold medal in womens singles at Indias 37th National Games last month. Her versatility extends to doubles play, where she holds the 44th position in womens doubles alongside Manika Batra. Kamath also displayed her skills by reaching the mixed doubles finals in WTT Contender Muscat 2022.

Swastika GHOSH (World No.171)
Swastika Ghosh recently clinched the womens doubles championship at the National Games earlier this month, showcasing her prowess on the national stage.

Poymantee BAISYA (World No.439)
Poymantee Baisya earned recognition by securing the womens doubles title at the All India Inter-Institutional Table Tennis Championships 2023.

Moumita DUTTA
Moumita Dutta, known for her remarkable achievements, reached the semi-finals of the Senior National Championships in 2018 in the womens team event and emerged as the Youth National Championships winner in 2016.

Snehit SURAVAJJULA (World No.158)
Snehit Suravajjula showcased his skills by reaching the quarterfinals in both mens doubles and mixed doubles at WTT Contender Lagos 2023.

Sanil SHETTY (World No.251)
At 34, Sanil Shetty, the most experienced player in Team India, claimed the mixed doubles title at the National Games this year alongside Diya Parag Chitale. In late August, he secured the mens singles bronze medal at the All-India Inter-Institutional Table Tennis Championships 2023.

Sudhanshu GROVER (World No.682)
Sudhanshu Grover brings a wealth of experience, backed by gold and silver medals from the South Asian Games and a bronze from the 2021 ITTF Kazakhstan Open.

Ronit BHANJA (World No.687)
Ronit Bhanja boasts a bronze in mens singles and gold in mens doubles at the Senior National Championships. He also clinched a Silver Medal at the Nigeria Open 2017. Notably, Bhanja secured the bronze medal in mens doubles at the National Games this year, partnering with Jeet Chandra.
