Steve Sarkisian reacts to Big 12 championship win; boasts on Texas resume ahead of CFP decision
Written by Sports NewsThe Big 12 championship is an accomplishment within itself, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian said in a post-game press conference. He went on to praise his team with a place in the College Football Playoff at stake.
"If we get in this tournament, we'll play anybody and we'll find out if we're good enough or not," Sarkisian said.
The Longhorns entered the final weekend before the decision at No. 7 in the CFP, needing help from teams like Alabama and Louisville to increase their odds of jumping into the top four making the CFP.
