Written by I Dig SportsThe Washington Capitals re-signed goaltender prospect Clay Stevenson to a three-year, $2.325 million contract Tuesday.
The first year of the deal will be a two-way contract paying $750,000 at the NHL level and $200,000 in the AHL. The next two years will be on a one-way contract for $775,000 per season.
Stevenson, 24, is 9-4-0 with four shutouts, a 1.70 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage in 13 games for the AHL's Hershey Bears this season. He leads the AHL in GAA and shutouts and is second in save percentage.

Stevenson originally signed a two-year, entry-level deal with the Capitals in March 2022, following his sophomore season at Dartmouth.
