Hornets' Miles Bridges denied access to Canada
Written by Sports NewsCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges was denied access to Canada ahead of Monday night's game against the Toronto Raptors, WCNC Charlotte's Nick Carboni confirmed.
The incident was first reported by WFNZ's Kyle Bailey. Bridges' denial appears to be related to his arrest for domestic violence. Any person with a felony conviction on their criminal record may be deemed "criminally inadmissible to Canada," according to the country's government.
The Hornets are currently working on getting Bridges cleared for Monday's game against the Raptors. Bridges made his NBA return in November, playing his first game in over 580 days.
