Cardiff's Sherratt hails Gloucester target Williams
Written by I Dig SportsCardiff head coach Matt Sherratt has outlined what his side will miss if Wales scrum-half Tomos Williams joins Gloucester next season.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to Kingsholm.
"Tomos has been brilliant the last two weeks," said Sherratt.
"I can't speak highly enough of him as a person or a player. It is probably the stuff you don't see with him.
"He is always going to have his moments, he can do things that no other player can do, he is such an instinctive player.
"But last week he set up two tries just through his effort. His competitive edge is massive for the team."
Players at clubs outside Wales are now required to have only 25 caps to represent their country after the number was dropped from 60 in February 2023.
Williams would still be eligible for Wales if he moved to play English club rugby because he has played 53 times for his country.
