Brits rewrite 5000m all-time lists plus national indoor champs round-up

Boston University DMR Challenge, Boston, USA, February 16
Grant Fisher (12:51.84) just missed the US indoor record at 5000m of 12:51.61 but went fifth all-time and behind him there were Olympic qualifiers and huge PBs for Brits Patrick Dever (13:04.05) and Jack Rowe (13:04.75) while European under-23 champion Charles Hicks set an European qualifier and big PB of 13:09.38.
The trio now sit sixth, seventh and ninth in the UK 5000m all-time list counting indoors and outdoors.

Taking advantage of the altitude, Grant Holloway improved his 60m hurdles world record to 7.27 but did not contest the final while Tia Jones equalled the world record in the womens event with 7.66.
There were world leads for Noah Lyles (60m: 6.43 in just edging Christian Coleman (6.44)) and Ryan Crouser in the shot (22.80m).
