The Big XII, ACC, and the Group of 5 continue to be pushed around by the growing SEC and Big Ten. Most recently, a proposal to expand the CFB Playoffs to 14 teams originally allotted 4 automatic bids to the SEC and Big Ten was adjusted to, instead, guarantee 3 bids each. While this change does almost nothing to level the playing field between conferences, the Big XII, ACC or Group of 5 no longer enough significance to overpower the SEC and the Big Ten.
