Osaka and Keys to play at Eastbourne in June
Written by I Dig SportsFormer world number one Naomi Osaka will make her first grass-court appearance for nearly five years after she and Madison Keys were confirmed to play at Eastbourne in June.
Keys, 29, is the tournament's defending women's champion, having beaten Daria Kasatkina in the 2023 final.
Osaka, 26, has not played on grass since Wimbledon in 2019.
The Eastbourne International is the final event on the calendar before Wimbledon starts on 1 July.
Keys, 20th in the world rankings, is a two-time winner at Eastbourne, having also won the first of her seven WTA titles there in 2014 as a 19-year-old.
It is a second appearance at Eastbourne for four-time Grand Slam winner Osaka, with her most recent coming in 2017, when she reached the second round.
The week-long event begins on 24 June.
