Spain hold off France, advance to Euro 2024 final
Written by I Dig SportsCan you believe it? After over three weeks of scintillating action, gripping drama and unfathomable tension, we're heading into the semifinal stage of Euro 2024. The first game on the menu is a beauty, too, as Spain take on France in Munich.
Spain (Euro winners in 1964, 2008 and 2012) have been arguably the most exciting team on display, scoring goals with ease and never disappointing fans or neutrals with passive, conservative football. France (winners in 1984 and 2000) by contrast have struggled to entertain, battling through the tournament with their defense while the likes of Kylian Mbappé (one goal at Euro 2024) and Ousmane Dembélé find their scoring form.
Join us for all the action as we see which team moves on to Sunday's final.
