Wales & Bath wing Grace has surgery on hamstring
Written by I Dig SportsWales and Bath wing Regan Grace has had surgery on a hamstring injury he picked up during his international debut earlier this month.
The 27-year-old scored a try on an impressive first appearance for Wales in their win over Queensland Reds during their summer tour of Australia.
Bath said he has had surgery since his return and "begun a rehabilitation process".
Grace's return to competition is under the guidance of Bath's medical team and would be confirmed in "due course" a statement said.
Former St Helens and rugby league winger Grace joined Bath last February initially to train, as he recovered from a long-term ruptured Achillies injury.
He signed a deal until the end of the 2024-25 season in April but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the club.
Scotland centre Cameron Redpath has also had surgery on a long-standing shoulder issue and is currently not part of the squad's pre-season training.
"The club will be in a better position in mid-August to know for which game he will return," Bath said.
