Draper upsets Fritz in Paris to extend winning run
Written by I Dig Sports
British number one Jack Draper continued his superb form by beating fifth seed Taylor Fritz at the Paris Masters.
The 22-year-old, who lifted the biggest title of his career in Vienna last week, won 7-6 (8-6) 4-6 6-4 to reach the third round - and record a seventh consecutive win.
Draper reached the semi-finals of the US Open last month and, having risen to 15th in the rankings, this win keeps the Briton in the hunt to qualify for the season-ending ATP Finals in Turin.
He will play Australian Alex de Minaur, who he beat in New York, in the last 16.
