Majeski Shines To Truck Series Championship
Written by I Dig SportsTy Majeski finally got to the top of the ladder in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
The longtime super late model racer put himself in position to contend for the series championship and capitalized by leading 132 of the 150 laps in the championship race at Phoenix Raceway.
His third victory of the season produced his first series championship and the third in the last four years for ThorSport Racing.

This is so much fun racing with this group, said the driver of the No 98 Ford. Im so proud to have the opportunity to drive these great race trucks. Theres a lot of times in my career when this looked like a far dream. Duke and Rhonda really gave me my third opportunity after I had two opportunities that failed-man, I cant thank them enough.
Corey Heim led the series in victories with six triumphs for TRICON Garage Toyota team and finished second in the finale and the championship.
Christian Eckes, Grant Enfinger and Nick Sanchez rounded out the top five in the standings.
