ASA/CRA Title Earns Burda Road To Daytona Appearance
Written by I Dig SportsNASHVILLE, Tenn. As an added bonus to winning the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Championship, Chase Burda will again participate in the ARCA Racing Series Road to Daytona test, Jan. 9-10 at Daytona (Fla.) Intl Speedway.
Last season, Burda earned the experience by finishing runner-up in the ASA/CRA Super Series standings behind Giovanni Ruggiero who already had a standing ARCA commitment.
The ARCA Road to Daytona program was founded by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) in 2010 as a bridge for local and regional racers to enjoy the high banks of Daytona. Champion Racing Associations involvement with the program dates back to the inception of the initiative.
Former ASA/CRA Super Series champion, Greg Van Alst utilized the program to boost his career which includes a 2023 ARCA Nationals Series win at Daytona. Van Alst has most recently signed a deal with Joey Gase Motorsports for the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
Burdas season included chasing a second consecutive JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance title. Although his bid for a title came up short, Burda did collect a win at Flat Rock Speedway in the VanDoorn Racing Development 125.
Additionally, Burda collected three top-five finishes and five top 10s en route to his ASA/CRA Super Series Championship.
