The NBA and Houston Rockets are in hot water in China over a tweet supporting pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong. Rockets general manager Daryl Morey had tweeted an image captioned "Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong". Sportswear giant Li-Ning and the team's China sponsor, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, have suspended cooperation with the Rockets. Streaming giant Tencent also said it will stop showing Rockets' games. Tencent is a major media partner of the NBA in China, with a streaming deal worth $1.5 billion over the next five years.
