The second annual High Limit International event at Perth Motorplex will further push the envelope when it comes to setting Australian Speedway records later this year.

Once again held on Dec. 28-30, amid summer break down under the event will fall on a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning for American fans. The ante will be upped for competitors with the preliminary payouts bumped to $15,000-to-win and a new-record $110,000-to-win AUD finale.

Our first ever High Limit International race was so amazing, were still trying to get over the incredible response from the fans and the speedway community, said Perth Motorplex General Manager, Gavin Migro, who was recently named RPM International Promoter of the Year. To host so many great drivers here and put on this amazing race was a treat for us here in Perth. We cant wait to do it all again in 2025!

We invite anyone from around the world lock in the travel now for December 28, 29 & 30, 2025.

Not only did the 2024 High Limit International boast the highest-payout in Australian Speedway history, it also produced the largest attendance in the 25-year history of the Perth Motorplex.

We knew that there was potential to build something really special, but I still think the inaugural event exceeded all of our expectations, said Kyle Larson, champion of the 2024 High Limit International. Everyone from the track to the fans to the teams were incredibly welcoming and it was awesome to see how even the Americans back home embraced it on Flo.

I know the Perth and HLR staffs are working hard to take this event to the next level still. We want to create something truly remarkable for the country down there.

Driving for local Western Australia native, Jason Pryde, NASCAR champion Kyle Larson etched his name into the history books as the inaugural High Limit champion in December 2024. In front of an electric crowd at the Kwinana Beach facility, the American cashed $100,000 AUD and his first-ever victory on Australian soil after a decade-plus of trying.

James McFadden, a Northern Territory native now residing in Victoria, topped the opening two preliminary nights in his newly-formed No. 23X supplied by Sheldon Brady.

After sweeping the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic and Australian Sprintcar Championship, the former High Roller will don the iconic No. A1 the next time we see him down under.

More details on the event will be released in the coming months.

As far as the stateside Kubota High Limit Racing series, the season will begin with a trip to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dirt Track on March 13 & 15. The 60-race tour will conclude at Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track on Oct. 17-18.
