LOS ANGELES -- LeBron James' Tuesday began with him feeding first responders battling the Getty Fire in Los Angeles with tacos and it ended with him dancing along to a boisterous "Taco Tuesday!" chant at Staples Center.

With under two minutes left and the Lakers cruising toward a 120-91 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, James started shouting "Taco Tuesday!" and then followed by pointing to and asking fans near the Lakers bench, "What is it?"

It wasn't long before the entire crowd was serenading James with a "Taco Tuesday!" chant. James could be seen dancing to the chant and waving on fans as teammates such as DeMarcus Cousins cracked up on the bench.

Had Danny Green ever heard anything like that before?

"Never," the new Lakers forward said. "That was probably the most interesting part of the night: Taco Tuesday chant."

James, sitting nearby in the Lakers locker room, replied with a "Heyyyyy!"

James, who applied for and was denied the trademark to "Taco Tuesday" this year, has made the phrase a part of his social media routine by filming selfie videos of him asking his family what day it is before shouting out "Taco Tuesday!"

However, James woke up deciding to make this "Taco Tuesday" one in which he could lend a helping hand to the first responders fighting the Getty Fire that forced James and his family to evacuate their home in Brentwood, sending the Mariscos Jalisco taco truck to feed them.

"I kind of woke up and knowing the situation that they've been going through the last few days, knowing today is Taco Tuesday, knowing today is the anniversary of my first game and we had another game tonight, so everything kind of lined up and was just giving my respect and understanding how important they are to this whole situation," James said. "In order to be at best, you have to have fuel. And food is a part of fuel.

"So tacos always win."
