SOMERSET, Ky. — Officials from the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series have released the schedule of events for next season, which features 17 races across three states at 10 race tracks.

The tour will open with a non-points exhibition event on Feb. 2 at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Ga., during the 12th annual Iron-Man Cabin Fever Shake Down event. The event will pay $1,200-to-win and $125-to-start.

“This will be the biggest season the open wheels have seen since we started the tour four years ago,” stated Series Promoter Chris Tilley. “The open wheels have grown by leaps and bounds and they continue to grow. We want to thank all of the race tracks and drivers and race fans who have supported the growth of this class.”

More than $92,600 will be paid out in nightly prize money this season in addition to a healthy year-end points fund.

“We want to single out and thank Mitch McCarter and 411 Motor Speedway for keeping the open wheels alive in East-Tennessee on a weekly basis the last few years so that we can have series events across the region with plenty of race cars, it’s been a vital role for us,” said Tilley.

“A huge thank you also goes to Brucebilt Performance for again returning as the title sponsor. Bruce Nunnally and his staff have been an avid supporter of Open Wheel racing and this Series. We could not do this without them.”

The opening points event on the tour will be on April 17 at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky., during the Spring Showdown. The series will then return to Ponderosa on Sept. 18 during Modified Mayhem weekend.

Wartburg (Tenn.) Speedway will return to the schedule with two events on April 25 and Aug. 22.

Crossville (Tenn.) Speedway will return to the schedule for the first time since 2018 for two visits on May 1 and Aug. 14.

Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway will host two Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified events on May 2 and July 3.

Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Ky., returns to the schedule after a year absence with two events, June 13 for the Finn Watson Memorial and Sept. 19 for part two of the Modified Mayhem weekend.

411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn., will host two events on the schedule as Tennessee’s Action Track will host the tour on July 4 as part of The Firecracker event and the tour will also visit 411 for the season finale on Nov. 28 for The Leftover race.

Ray Cook’s Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, N.C. will host two events on the schedule, April 24 and July 31.

The series will make a single season visit to Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn., on Aug. 1. The tour will also make a single visit to I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn., on Aug. 15.

All events on the tour will pay $1,200-to-win and $125-to-start throughout the season, with features scheduled for 25 laps. The tour champion will receive $2,000 with the top-five in the final year-end points receiving monies from the points fund based on 100 percent of racer attendance as per the rule book stipulates.
