MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Williams Grove Speedway has announced the schedule of events for next season, with the historic Pennsylvania dirt track hosting 31 race dates that showcase the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars in every outing.

The season opener featuring only 410 sprint cars is slated for Sunday afternoon, March 15 at 2 p.m.

That will not be the last sprints only program on the schedule, as three more big shows featuring only the sprint cars are on tap.

They include April 17, when the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions visits for the Tommy Hinnershitz Classic, the Mitch Smith Memorial PA Speedweek event on July 3 and the return of the All Star Circuit of Champions on Aug. 28 for the Jack Gunn Memorial Twin 20s.

The full-body super late models, once a regular division at the track, will see an uptick in their appearances at Williams Grove Speedway next season with six races on the agenda.

Two of the races will be sanctioned by the popular ULMS Late Model Series, taking place on March 20 and again on April 10, while the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series will sanction a $10,000-to-win event on Aug. 21.

Other super late model races will hit the track on March 27, Aug. 7 and on June 5 when the PA Super Late Model Challenge Series is staged.

The HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprint cars will be featured on 10 occasions at the track, with the division kicking off action on April 24 running through Sept. 25.

The USAC Silver Crown Series will return to the track for the second year in a row, along with the 410 sprint cars, on June 12.

More USAC action at the track this season will include the Rapid Tire USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series, taking part in a new program early in the season called Spring Sprint Special on April 3.

The April 3 show will feature the 410 sprints, the USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series and the PASS/IMCA 305 sprint cars in a rare three-division, all open wheel program.

The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series comes to Williams Grove for six events, including the regular two-day May and July stands along with the two-day, 58th annual National Open on Oct. 2-3.

The Oct. 3 National Open will again pay a whopping $65,000 to the winner and will crown the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint car track champion.

Champion Racing Oil returns to sponsor the entire National Open weekend as well as the Summer Nationals on July 24-25.

H & N Landscaping will present the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series at Williams Grove on May 15-16.

The All Star Circuit of Champions sprints will appear in a trio of shows including the previously stated Tommy Classic and Gunn Memorial, along with the Dirt Classic Qualifier on Sept. 18.

The United Racing Club 360 sprint cars have two dates inked on the schedule, one in conjunction with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series.

May 1 will find the oval taking part in the third running of The Battle Of The Groves event, featuring Friday racing at Williams Grove and Saturday racing at Selinsgrove Speedway for both URC and the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series.

The 10-race Hoosier Diamond Series will again be staged at Williams Grove, with a champion of the series declared based on performances in select increased purse races during the year.

Also return for another run will be the lucrative Yellow Breeches 500 races, with each of five races paying $500 to start.

The Diamond Series will serve to honor a pair of icons in the sport when legendary mechanic Davey Brown is honored with the Brown Tribute Race on May 22, while legendary Apple. No. 12 car owner Bob Stewart is honored in the Stewart Tribute Race on Sept. 4.

The Pennsylvania Speedweek Series will visit Williams Grove Speedway for a pair of shows, on June 26 for the series opener and on July 3 for the $15,000-to-win Mitch Smith Memorial.
