Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will play Friday night against the Grizzlies after initially being listed as questionable with a right quad tendon injury.
The reigning MVP and candidate to repeat missed Wednesday's 127-112 win over the Pelicans with the injury, the first game he had missed this season. He was upgraded to probable late Friday afternoon before the Bucks announced he will play at Memphis as they look to extend their win streak to 17 games.
Antetokounmpo has been on a tear to start the season, averaging 30.9 points, 13.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists in just 31.6 minutes per game.
The Bucks enter Friday's action tied with the Lakers for the best record in the league at 22-3.
