The 2020 Major League Soccer season doesn't kick off for another seven weeks (stream every out-of-market game live on ESPN+), but clubs will take their first steps toward constructing a title-winning roster in the MLS SuperDraft. The two expansion clubs joining the league this season, Inter Miami CF and Nashville SC, will pick No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
Rounds one and two will take place on Thursday, with rounds three and four taking place on Jan. 13. Each club will have three minutes to make their selection once on the clock -- down from four minutes in the 2019 edition -- and there will be no intermission between rounds one and two.
This year's draft will be the first not held in a central location. Instead of every club's decision makers gathered in one place, surrounded by eager prospects and rowdy fans, this year's SuperDraft will be conducted over conference call and web streaming.
A pair of trades see a slight shuffle in the top 10 of this year's draft order, with Inter Miami acquiring the No. 3 overall selection from FC Cincinnati in exchange for $150,000 in General Allocation Money, and the New England Revolution will draft sixth overall, the pick coming from Sporting Kansas City as part of the 2018 trade for Krisztian Nemeth.
So, who will your team take?
