OREGON, Wis. – The ARCA Midwest Tour will host 10 points races throughout the upcoming season, with the series champion set to be crowned during the 51st annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend on Oct. 11.

Madison International Speedway will once again kick off the ARCA Midwest Tour season with the 12th running of the Joe Shear Classic on May 3. The $10,000 to win, 200-lap event at Madison was won by Georgia’s Bubba Pollard last year

The Salute the Troops 100 on May 23 has become a traditional stop at Jefferson (Wis.) Speedway each Memorial Day Weekend. Casey Johnson is the defending race winner. The Milwaukee Mile returns to the schedule for the second-straight year on June 14. Austin Nason took top honors at the West Allis, Wis., oval last year.

Following a one year hiatus, the ARCA Midwest Tour will return to Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill. The Wayne Carter Classic 100 presented by by Rod Baker Ford and Illinois Truck & Equipment will take place on July 11 with at least $5,000 going to the winner.

State Park Speedway and the Larry Detjens Memorial Weekend will once again be a part of the ARCA Midwest Tour schedule. Gabe Sommers won the 125-lap event last season.

The Gandrud Auto Group Dixieland 250 will be next on the schedule, the annual event at Wisconsin Int’l Raceway taking place on Aug. 4. Ty Majeski, who will be chasing the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series title this year with Niece Motorsports, is the defending race winner.

The ARCA Midwest Tour will again be a part of a busy weekend of racing at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Ill. The Gateway Classic Super Late Model Showdown will take place at the 1.25-mile oval on Aug. 22 as part of a tripleheader weekend featuring the NTT IndyCar Series and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series. Paul Shafer Jr. is the most recent winner at Gateway.

A second stop at Madison Int’l Speedway is set for Aug. 28, with the tour returning to Madison for the Howie Lettow Classic. The following weekend, the Tour makes its annual Labor Day Weekend voyage to Dells Raceway Park on Sept. 5 for the Escape to Wisconsin 100.

Finally, the ARCA Midwest Tour champion will be crowned on Oct. 11 during the 51st annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway. In a wild finish which saw multiple pit strategies play out, Majeski had just enough steam left to best Dan Fredrickson last year.

In addition, the All-American 400 at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville will be featured as a non-points race on Oct. 31-Nov. 1. The race will feature drivers from multiple sanctioning bodies, with guaranteed starting positions available for ARCA Midwest Tour competitors.
