FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. — The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will embark upon its 37th year of racing this season, with 18 races confirmed for the upcoming season.
The season gets underway on March 1 at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, S.C., as drivers compete in the March Madness feature paying $12,000 to the winner.
Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, Tenn., Oglethorpe Speedway in Pooler, Ga., Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn., Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., Richmond (Ky.) Raceway, Senoia (Ga.) Raceway, and I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn., all have events on the calendar as they have in previous years.
New tracks that have come on board this year include Deep South Raceway in Loxley, Ala., and Greenville (Miss.) Speedway. More tracks and dates will be added to the schedule in the next few weeks.
