USA Basketball is suspending all events until further notice in response to the coronavirus outbreak, USAB's board of directors announced Friday.
Among the events affected is the April 20 Nike Hoop Summit, which was canceled. The Hoop Summit is a showcase intended to pit the top international players in the world against a group of elite high school players.
Also the 2020 Red Bull USA Basketball 3X Nationals, a three-on-three half-court competition, will be rescheduled.
"USA Basketball will continue to monitor the situation and remain in contact with the many stakeholders involved, including the USOPC, FIBA, NBA, WNBA, NCAA and Center for Disease Control," the organization said in a statement.
Team USA has already qualified for the 2020 Olympics in men's and women's basketball. In February, USA Basketball announced a list of 44 finalists for the men's basketball roster.
