The winter transfer window is closed, but now it's time to look ahead to the summer! Here are the new rumours floating around Europe's big leagues and beyond.

TOP STORY: Real Madrid ready big money move for Mane

Real Madrid are ready to bring Liverpool's Sadio Mane to the Bernabeu, with the Sunday Mirror speculating that Real manager Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer of the Senegal international.

The paper reports that the Mane's representatives have been made aware of the Spanish club's interest. However, the pricetag would be a huge hurdle for Madrid -- a fee that apparently reaches the region of £130-140 million.

Mane, 27, has scored 14 goals in the Premier League this season. The La Liga side are reportedly confident that they could prise the player from Merseyside and give him a new challenge.

15.40 GMT: Cristiano Ronaldo signed a four-year deal at Juventus in 2018, so naturally it runs out in 2022. But the club are looking to add an extra two years, says Tuttosport, meaning that he would be 39 by the time he leaves.

Ronaldo has always said he could continue playing until he's 40, while he's shown no signs of slowing down this season with 25 goals in 32 appearances -- which includes 21 in 22 in Serie A, and also a run of 11 consecutive top-flight games.

But would he want to stay in Italy for longer, or does he have other plans -- like perhaps MLS or China -- on his mind?

15.11 GMT: Manchester United's Odion Ighalo is making a strong case for a permanent move to Old Trafford.

The Nigerian has scored four goals in eight United appearances in all competitions since his loan from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua in January and he really want to sign on for good in the summer.

So much so that he's "reportedly prepared to accept a staggering £120,000-a-week pay cut" according to the Mirror. That's about a 50% decrease by the way.

14.32 GMT: If Arsenal have a chance to sign Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey, they should.

Should Arsenal break the bank for Thomas Partey?

With reports swirling about Thomas Partey, Shaka Hislop feels Arsenal should do their best to sign him.

14.16 GMT: Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz is going to be one of the big names in amongst the transfer gossip this summer but it seems the 20-year-old won't be heading to Juventus.

Calciomercato reports that the Old Lady aren't willing to spend the club's €80m asking price, which could open the door for Liverpool. However, if you believe Leverkusen manager Peter Bosz then the price for Havertz is even higher.

"He can't be held on to next summer," Bosz told Dutch publication Algemeen Dagblad. "That will be a transfer of €100m. What am I saying? More than €100m!"

12.56 GMT: Queens Park Rangers midfielder Eberechi Eze was scouted by Tottenham last weekend, says the Sun.

Eze, 21, starred during a 3-1 win at Preston and Jose Mourinho is now reportedly "keen to explore the possibility of bringing in the England Under-21 international" after a glowing report from scout Brian Carey.

QPR have put a £20m price tag on Eze, with Sheffield United and Crystal Palace already dropping out of the race.

12.02 GMT: Arsenal are hoping to add to their defence in the summer and West Ham's Issa Diop could be a target, says the Daily Mirror.

Diop, 23, has three years left on his contract after joining from Toulouse for £22.5m in 2018. But the Hammers are going to want at least £40m for the France international if they decide to cash in.

11.12 GMT: This is the transfer world we live in now. Clubs are going crazy for 16-year-old Turkish sensation Omer Faruk Beyaz, says Fotospor, despite him never having played a game for Fenerbahce's first-team.

Barcelona, Juventus and Inter Milan are interested, but the report states that it's Manchester United and City who are leading the race due to their extensive scouting efforts in Turkey.

Beyaz's contract expires in 2021, by which time a host of other clubs will likely have entered the fray.

10.31 GMT: Arsenal fans might be pleased to hear that Barcelona are reportedly ready to end their interest in striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Sunday Express.

Aubameyang, 30, had been linked to Camp Nou as his contract expires in 2021 and the club's recent woes suggest he won't sign a new one.

However, the Gabon international will have plenty of other suitors -- such as Inter Milan -- so Gunners' fans can't rest easy yet.

09.53 GMT: Marca reckons that PSG are preparing themselves for the exit of Neymar.

The 28-year-old Brazilian is expected to return to his former club Barcelona for €150m -- quite a climbdown from the €250m the French club were looking for last summer.

Is Neymar actually happy at PSG?

The FC crew wonder if Neymar's attitude at PSG has changed or if he will sour on the club soon.

09.36 GMT: Speaking of Chelsea, the Sun claims 16-year-old Middlesbrough striker Calum Kavanagh is on the club's radar, with Arsenal interested too.

The Blues are also looking at Billy Gilmour's brother Harvey.

Gilmour, 18, has enjoyed a breakthrough season as he's been given a chance in the Chelsea first-team and has impressed. But he could soon be joined by his 14-year-old sibling, who plays for Kilmarnock's youth team.

Further adding to their plethora of young talent, the paper reports that Hartlepool goalkeeper Brad Young, 17, is set to sign terms after a two-week trial.

09.00 GMT: It's been a while since Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey was being talked about on these pages, but here he is again.

Bailey, 22, was being linked with various top clubs for around €100m over a year ago but the Jamaica international's drop in form saw those reports disappear. Now he's back to his best and Chelsea are reportedly preparing an £85m bid, says the Sunday Express.

PAPER TALK (by Rich Edwards)

Newcastle offer United's Jones new path

It hasn't been the easiest season for Phil Jones -- but now Newcastle United are offering the Manchester United centre-back a route out of Old Trafford.

That's according the Sunday Mirror, which reports that Steve Bruce is ready to shell out £12m for the versatile United defender. Jones has fallen down the United pecking order this season and is now widely-seen as fourth choice behind regulars Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly. And there's little sign of that changing, regardless of the bizarre circumstances players and clubs are now existing in.

Newcastle boss Steve Bruce is now reportedly keen to snap up a player that Manchester United signed for £16m from Blackburn back in 2011. And, although Jones signed a new contract just 12 months ago, tying him to United until 2023, it's understood that the club would be willing to listen to offers for a player who appears to have little future at Old Trafford.

Bellingham spoilt for choice

The future of Birmingham's Jude Bellingham has been the subject of widespread conjecture since he made his debut against Portsmouth in the Carabao Cup back in August. And now it seems that the precocious teenager has the choice of playing for Manchester United, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich by the time next season rolls around.

So says the Sunday Mirror, which reports that the St Andrews hierarchy are willing to cash in on the teenage sensation. The same paper reported that Borussia Dortmund were keen on snapping him up 12 months ago, although a £12.5m bid from United makes them among the favourites to seal his signature.

Sources had told ESPN that Bellingham and his family were shown around United's training base at Carrington earlier this week, with Sir Alex Ferguson also believed to have been at the forefront of his tour.

Tap-ins

- The Sunday Mirror reports that Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is set to step up his summer transfer activity by making Brazilian defender Gabriel his first signing of the summer. The report states that the centre-back, who is rated at £30m by his club Lille, will be heading to Merseyside as Ancelotti looks to build a side capable of competing for major honours. The 22-year-old defender began his career at Dynamo Zagreb before shining for the French side.

- Xherdan Shaqiri, Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren could all be leaving Liverpool this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo, with the club seeking to make space in the squad and the wage bill for potential incomings.
