McIntosh Banks $5,000 Boyd’s Triumph

RINGGOLD, Ga. – Donald McIntosh took home a $5,000 payday for winning Saturday’s super late model portion of the Boyd’s Dirt Showdown at Boyd’s Speedway.

McIntosh, who set fast time for the event with a 14.225-second lap around the three-eighths-mile clay oval, drove by Austin Neely on the seventh lap and led the rest of the 50-lap feature.

Austin Smith came home in second, followed by Michael Page, Riley Hickman and John Ownbey.

Heats were won by David Seibers and Richard Smith.

Trevor Sise won the crate late model feature, Hayden Swaney was the winner of the driver development feature and Matt Stewart took top honors in the sportsman race.
