BULLS GAP, Tenn. – The American Crate All-Star Series presented by PPM Racing Products will kick off its season in a big way, with the second annual Mayhem in the Mountains tripleheader weekend.

The three-day event takes place Friday through Sunday, May 22-24. All three racing programs will be broadcast through SPEED SPORT TV affiliate Dirt2Media.

Night one of the tour will visit Volunteer Speedway and mark the season opener. The tour has visited Volunteer Speedway one time previously and saw Ross White win his first series event.

This year’s event is expected to be full of excitement, as tour regulars will battle it out with locals and out-of-state hot shoes who have never been to the Bulls Gap, Tenn., speedway. The event will pay $2,000 to win and $250 to start.

Volunteer will host two future events on the ACAS calendar as well.

Night two of Mayhem in the Mountains will visit Smoky Mountain Speedway. Smoky Mountain hosted two events in 2019, with Cory Hedgecock topping the first race and Jake Teague making an excellent move in traffic to win in the second trip to the speedway.

A huge field of cars is expected to battle it out in the $3,000 to win and $300 to start event, with Smoky Mountain returning later in 2020 for the ACAS championship weekend.

The final night of Mayhem in the Mountains will take place at Crossville Speedway. Crossville hosted two series events in 2019 and looks to finish off the Mayhem in the Mountains in thrilling fashion.

Crossville’s race, like the Volunteer event, will pay $2,000 to win and $250 to start.
