Alloy Employer Services Backing Williams At Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff contender Josh Williams will encounter a pair of firsts during this weekend’s Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard.

For one, it will mark his – and the series’ – first time competing on the famed facility’s 2.439-mile infield road course. For another, it will mark Williams’ first race with new sponsor Alloy Employer Services.

Alloy Employer Services, an expert resource for HR related business services, will serve as the primary partner aboard Williams’ No. 92 Chevrolet Camaro on Saturday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Alloy’s association with Williams is its first foray into the NASCAR market.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Alloy Employer Services offers innovative solutions to the complex needs of workers compensation and employee benefits. Industries Alloy works with include healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, maintenance, hospitality and construction.

Alloy’s Midwest roots have led to a national reach, serving its clients with workers in more than 30 states across the country thanks to its risk management expertise and innovative plan designs.

“Alloy Employer Services is excited to break into NASCAR at a time when the country is facing this unprecedented medical crisis,” said Chris Estey, Chief Marketing Officer for Alloy. “Alloy supports a large workforce who are getting back to work from coast to coast just as NASCAR has, rising to the challenge of getting its drivers and personnel back to work in the safest and smartest way possible. We support those efforts 100 percent and are proud to sponsor Josh Williams this Saturday on Independence Day at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“Josh epitomizes the American Dream and American drive to succeed,” Estey continued. “He embodies the spirit of the American worker, finding a path to success with the support of his dedicated fans and supporters. Alloy celebrates Josh and all of the American workforce who are getting back to work and we look forward to cheering on the No. 92 Alloy Employer Services Camaro this weekend!”

Williams is hoping that the variable of the first road course of the season on the Xfinity Series schedule will allow him to get his playoff push back on track, after back-to-back crashes at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway and Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa., stymied his positive momentum.

Despite those incidents, the 26-year-old is 15th in the playoff standings through 12 races, just three positions and 45 points away from qualifying for the postseason in his just second full-time campaign.

Prior to Talladega, Williams’ average finish over the previous nine races was 15th, including a pair of top-10 finishes. That record of consistency gives him plenty of reason to believe his DGM Racing team can rebound and climb back into the playoff conversation.

“To say the last two weeks didn’t go as planned would be a fair statement, but racing is racing and you just have to take the good with the bad, get over it quickly and reset for the next one,” Williams noted. “We know we’ve had speed just about everywhere we’ve gone this season, and when you keep bringing fast cars to the race track, the finishes will come. We’re excited to get to Indianapolis and really glad to bring Alloy Employer Services onboard the No. 92 Camaro this weekend. It’s always exciting to give a sponsor their first experience in NASCAR, especially a sponsor who supports the American workforce.

“Even though times are different right now, we’re hoping to give them a strong run on Saturday and get back closer to that top 12 in points.”

Saturday’s Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard will go green at 3 p.m. ET, live on NBC, the IMS Radio Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
