Washington's NFL team has hired D.C. attorney Beth Wilkinson of Wilkinson Walsh LLP to review the organization's protocols, including its culture, policies and allegations of workplace misconduct, Wilkinson confirmed in a statement on Thursday.

Wilkinson has represented the NFL in a lawsuit challenging the league's Sunday Ticket Package and has also successfully represented the NCAA and Major League Baseball in class-action suits.

The move was made while speculation swirled around an upcoming story by The Washington Post, which was published late Thursday afternoon. The story involves allegations by 15 former employees, all women, of sexual harassment by former scouts and members of owner Dan Snyder's inner circle.

Within the past week, front-office members Richard Mann III and Alex Santos, as well as radio play-by-play voice Larry Michael, left the organization. All three are accused of misconduct in the Washington Post story.

It has been reported that three minority shareholders are seeking to sell their interests in the team. The minority shareholders have hired the investment bank Moag & Company to vet buyers, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
