KOKOMO, Ind. – With a pair of third-place finishes in the first two NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week rounds, Justin Grant leads the standings for the seven-race series entering Sunday night at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
Grant, from Ione, Calif., also holds the lead in the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series standings and has a slim three-point advantage in the ISW championship chase over Brady Bacon, who finished eighth at Gas City I-69 Speedway and second at Kokomo Speedway.
Kyle Cummins runs third in the ISW points (-8) over Chase Stockon in fourth (-10) and Gas City winner Logan Seavey, who rounds out the top five and is 18 back of the lead.
Kokomo winner C.J. Leary resides sixth in Indiana Sprint Week points, 25 adrift.
Indiana Sprint Week continues with round three of the series on Sunday night at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Advance ticket entry opens at 3 p.m. ET, with walk-up entry beginning at 4 p.m.
Hot laps are scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, with racing to immediately follow.
