CONCORD, N.C – Due to continued mass gatherings regulations in place, the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series have made a few slight adjustments to its schedule through August and September.
The Saturday, Aug. 22 race at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, has been canceled. All fans who purchased advanced tickets will be refunded to their method of payment.
Originally scheduled for the next night on Sunday, the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series date at Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pa., has been bumped up to that Saturday, Aug. 22 slot to fill the space of Sharon. That sets up a three-day Pennsylvania swing next weekend with races at Lincoln Speedway on Thursday, Aug. 20, Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, Aug. 21, and Eriez on Saturday, Aug. 22.
Series officials have also canceled the Fayetteville Motor Speedway event on Friday, Sept. 4. Taking the place of the North Carolina race is a night in Georgia, with Lavonia Speedway now occupying that Friday, Sept. 4 date before the series heads to Lancaster Motor Speedway in South Carolina on Saturday, Sept. 5.
