Australia won the toss and decided to bat against England
Both England and Australia went into the second T20I at the Ageas Bowl unchanged after a nip-and-tuck game on Friday night.
Australia will bat first on the same pitch used in that first game, in anticipation of conditions staying the same throughout the day on a cloudy afternoon in Hampshire.
Pat Cummins had signalled on the eve of the game that Marcus Stoinis would be handed another opportunity in the middle order, despite struggling for rhythm in an innings of 23 not out from 18 balls on Friday night. Therefore, it was no great surprise to see him keep his spot at No. 5.
"It looks a decent wicket again," Finch said. "Perhaps with the sun out it might slow down a bit later on but it's only 40 overs so you've got to do whatever you do first, well.
"[Changing the batting order] is something we've talked about. We can be flexible but we've been pretty consistent over the last 12 or 18 months so it's one of those things. Based on conditions you can look to change it around as much as you want."
England kept faith with Tom Banton at No. 4 and decided not to rotate their seamers, backing their four quicks to come good in the Powerplay and banking on their ability at the death to remain crucial.
Morgan said that he would have bowled first if given the choice, and reiterated his hope that his seamers would find a way to take wickets with the new ball after only three Powerplay wickets in six innings this calendar year.
The game will be broadcast on BBC TV in the UK - the first England-Australia game they will have shown live since the 1997 Oval Test.
Meanwhile, England's players have been fined 20% of their match fees for the first T20I due to a slow over-rate. Morgan did not contest the charge.
