BOONE, Iowa — According to IMCA officials, Super Nationals qualifying for hobby stocks and Northern sportmods will continue today and will be completed as soon as weather permits at Boone Speedway.
Wednesday’s program for modifieds and stock cars has been moved to 9 a.m. on Thursday and will be followed by Thursday’s scheduled program.
Drivers will draw for both of Thursday’s racing programs beginning at noon today.
Fifteen sportmod heats, two sportmod qualifying features and one hobby stock qualifying feature were postponed from the Tuesday show. There will be no charge for pit or grandstand admission.
Last-chance races for those two divisions will not be held; both will be canceled with the last six spots in each field filled by points.
No modified or stock car hot laps will be held on Wednesday and no pre-tech will be required in either division prior to Thursday’s program. The only requirements are to sign in and draw.
All six nights of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s on Sept. 7-12 will be broadcast live via SPEED SPORT TV affiliate IMCA.TV.
