ALGER, Wash. — Skagit Speedway will close out a season hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic and no spectators with its final Night Thunder presented by Rayce Rudeen Foundation on Sept. 17.

Despite the continued ban on spectators at entertainment venues, Skagit Speedway owner Steve Beitler is determined to make sure every lap of the season could be viewed. As with all races this season, the finale will be live streamed through the website www.SkagitSpeedway.TV.

Track champions will be crowned in the Budweiser 360 sprints, Skagit Aggregates modifieds and Outlaw tuner divisions.

Devon Borden has a 59-point lead in the Budweiser 360 sprint standings over Chase Goetz. Cobly Thornhill is only three points out of second with Cam Smith 90 points out of the lead.

The modified standings are tight with Adam Holtrop holding a slim 17-point advantage over Craig Moore. Ben Gunderson is only 28 points behind Holtrop. The top five are separated by just 78 points.

After finishing in the top five during all 10 races this season, Rick Young holds a commanding 71-point lead in the Outlaw Tuners championship ranks.
