BRIDGEPORT, N.J. – Super DIRTcar Series regular Mike Maresca invaded Bridgeport Speedway on Sunday and walked away with the win in the finale to the High Banks Classic.
Maresca raced forward from the back half of the top 10, took the lead on lap 19 of 50 and led the rest of the way, beating runner-up Ryan Watt by 1.4 seconds at the checkered flag.
Third went to Richie Pratt Jr., followed by asphalt modified ace Jimmy Blewett, making a rare appearance on dirt carrying his familiar No. 76.
Ryan Krachun completed the top five, followed by Billy Pauch, Dominik Buffalino, Billy Pauch Jr., Jeff Strunk and Ryan Godown.
Other winners during the program included Steve Davis (Crate Sportsman), T.J. Henry (Outlaw Stocks), Kenny Miller III (SpeedSTR make-up) and Steve Buckwalter (SpeedSTR).
