WILMETTE, Ill. – Officials from the Race Track Business Conference have released the agenda for its online gathering on Dec. 9.
With four cutting edge presentations from leading industry professionals, RTBC-2020-VRTL will provide attendees with an overview on the challenges of the current operating environment for motorsports, both on and off the track.
Sessions will include Diversity and Inclusion, Motorsports Coalitions, Racing Toward the Future and Digital Marketing.
In addition, the opening remarks will be presented by Dr. Jamie Meyer, the president of Performance Racing Industry, which traditionally organizes the PRI Trade Show in Indianapolis.
This year’s PRI Trade Show was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and replaced with the two-month-long PRI Road Tour.
Dr. Meyer was named President of Performance Racing Industry in January. Meyer’s goal is to serve and engage the racing community, develop programs and services for the racing industry, and lead the PRI Trade Show, one of the top 40 trade events in the United States.
Prior to joining PRI, Meyer had a successful 15-year career at General Motors, where he served as the Advanced Performance Parts Program Manager, the Performance Marketing Manager, as well as in several marketing and advertising roles for Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC and Buick.
The ninth annual Race Track Business Conference will return this year with an online format. The event will be part of web-based activities surrounding the PRI Trade Show.
The cost to attend RTBC-2020-VRTL is $25.
