NORWALK, Ohio – The most packed and plentiful schedule in the history of Summit Motorsports Park will be presented next year.
In addition to the familiar favorites, there will be added attractions to make the season even more substantial and significant.
Familiar favorites include the 40th Annual Spring Warm-Up, April 10, followed by the season’s first Edelbrock Super Series, which has expanded to fifteen events beginning on April 17, and the season’s first Wednesday Fun Night, which will be on most Wednesdays beginning May 5.
Additionally, Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars will fly for the 15th annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, June 24-27, and the 15th Annual Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser, one of the largest NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events in the country, will be July 1-4. Classic cars will come together for the 20th Annual Lingenfelter Performance Blue Suede Cruise, July 9-11.
Chargers, Challengers and other collectible cars will congregate for the ninth annual Monster Mopar Weekend, July 23-25, and Trans-Am, Tempests and other treasured cars will cruise in for the 30th Annual Ames Performance Pontiac Nationals, July 30-Aug. 1.
Expect endless energy, excitement and explosives for the highly anticipated 44thAnnual Kelly Night Under Fire, Aug. 7, as well as commanding cars with power-adder and naturally-aspirated combinations for the 20th Annual NMCA All-American Nationals, Aug. 26-29. Hundreds of sportsman racers will get in the spirit at the Cometic Gasket Halloween Classic XLVIII presented by Harland Sharp, Oct. 9-17.
Added attractions include the inaugural PDRA DeCerbo Construction American Door Slammer Challenge presented by Callies, which will begin a riveting run at the park, May 27-29, and the Inaugural NMRA Ford Performance Nationals, which will feature an impressive array of fast and fine Fords, June 10-13. The Inaugural NHDRO Motorcycle Drag Racing Series Midwest Fall Nationals will bring a mad amount of motorcycles, September 17-19, as will the Return of the AHDRA Buckeye Nationals, Oct. 1-3.
Ticket sales begin on Nov. 16.
