LEE, N.H. – Norm Wrenn III, a second generation racer and track operator in the Northeast, has died at the age of 37.
Wrenn worked as the track president at New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway and was also involved in the management of two other New Hampshire tracks – Monadnock Speedway and Claremont Speedway.
His father, Norm Wrenn Jr., purchased Lee USA Speedway and Monadnock Speedway in 2018 and later teamed with Ben Bosowski to acquire Claremont Speedway in 2019. His son helped in the day-to-day management of Lee USA Speedway while also helping his father at the other two tracks he owns.
In addition to being involved in track management, Wrenn III was also a racer. He earned four victories in pro modified competition in the Northeast, two at Lee USA Speedway, one at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park and one at New London-Waterford Speedbowl.
